Just want to point out One Thing…

Law-abiding Americans who suffer chronic severe pain treated with prescription opiates have been faced with ever more onerous restrictions, and even people whose emergency room visits would in previous years included a prescription for safe and reliable opiate medications are being sent home with over-the-counter pills.

Meanwhile, there are numerous locations in our country where free needles are available for users injecting illegally-purchased drugs.

Not only are free needles provided – at taxpayer expense – but such facilities also provide testing for HIV, Hep C, tuberculosis, STDs, as well as other medical, social and mental health services. Such facilities may have outreach workers to provide needles to “people in their own environments.”

So the health of people who break the law is a high enough priority that tax money pays for law-breakers to get free needles – and convenient access to other services.

And law-abiding citizens with health conditions that cause severe pain get to be the human sacrifices in the vicious failure that is the War On Drugs.
